A Pugtones Summer Tune "LIFE IS GOOD"

Hi, remember me?  ;-)  Well, I got just burnt out between business and heat. Mark sent this music and it seemed fun so, I wrote some lyrics, sang and played bass.   I thought I was out but then he pulled me back in. LOL Something was missing, though, so we called on our brudda from anudda mudda, BILL DAVIES.  He did his thing and it made us smile.  We want to thank him for playing with us again.  He's been the icing on quite a few of our tunes.  So, hopefully this will kick start us again.  I know I have  missed a ton of good music up here.

We hope you listen and all comments are welcomed.

Oooo "that's a happy day" doesn't sound very happy?

This gave me a Jere Garcia and the Grateful Dead vibe, and no weak one either.

Way cool!  You guys are having too much fun, and it's spreading.  As has been noted, various influences color this song, but it's definitely your own.  Way to go.

Robby- Thanks for listening and your comments.  It could be a bit happier sounding I guess but that's the way that part came out.

ABV(Darren)- Thanks for listening and the nice comments!

Lynn- Thanks for listening.  It was a lot of fun.  Whenever Bill comes in on a tune it's just a blast.  I don't know how he thinks of the things he does.  His Woo Hoos and Yeah at the end just crack me up and make me feel good.  He has about 10 tracks on that song. Thanks for the comments!

Wookie- Thanks for listening and commenting.

Life IS good when you guys are cranking out knockout songs like this one!

Great playing and singing, clever lyrics, and Mark produced a nice, well-textured, clean and punchy mix.

    Warren,

Fun, summer  tune.   Really enjoyable listen all around.  The details are incredible.   I feel like I spent the day at the beach instead of cooped up at the office.   Sounds like you are doing pretty well, how you feeling these days?

John Hiatt! I thought Grateful Dead for a minute too, but it sounds more like a John Hiatt song. Very good recording and song. It's nice to be able to hear a smile...if you know what I mean.

Very quirky - in a good way. Wasn't too sure first time round, but definitely a grower the more I listen. Love the ending!
