A RE-Do by Tom on "If I Give My Heart To You"

After posting this particular song way back in November, Tom (Distant Towers) was kind enough to offer his skills and talent in taking a look at it and re-doing the mix.  This was a Herculean task as this was one of the songs that was on the external hard drive that I dropped and broke (smashed).  I did get a computer savvy friend to save some of the song files that I had on the destroyed drive (RIP) but most were in bad shape.  To make matters worse, this was a song that I did a long time ago.  In fact I recorded this with Guitar Track because I wasn't aware of Sonar at the time.  It was recorded very hot.  I admit that I know very little about recording and mixing songs now, but to say that I did not have a clue at that time would be a severe understatement.
 
Anyway, somehow he was able to take the file that I sent him and he was able to work his magic.  He even was kind enough to send back to me the cwb file with all of his magic on it.  I am now in the process of trying to figure out what all of that stuff is?  Goodness gracious!   I guess I'm going to have to start working on some tutorials.  I have posted the final product resulting from Tom's work on the SoundClick site and just so that you can readily compare the improvements that were made, I have left my original on SoundClick. 
 
It is nice to actually hear your own songs when they are done properly.  Thank you for taking on the challenge Tom.  I very much appreciate it.  Also, thanks for putting up with my tardiness and lack of knowledge.
