A Suggestion for Non-Professionals who want to keep running Sonar.

Hi All,

Like most of you I was shocked by the recent news.

I keep Sonar and my other music software on a single computer used for music only. It is not connected to the Internet.

I have another desktop for everyday use. When I buy music software I download it on an external drive from that computer and install it to the music computer from the external drive.

I do not do any windows updates and I always keep a current system image.

I have most of what I need to make the music I enjoy. Because I am not a professional I do not need a more complex system.

So for those of you who wish to keep using Sonar, and your needs are more basic, your best bet is to put it on a seperate computer not connected to the Internet and keep a current system image.

I am hopeful that Cakewalk will be bought by some company and will continue to be developed. It is a good program.
