A bit windy around here!

There's a nice observation point across the river from me that I've gone to a few times with friends and relatives, but it wasn't so nice a couple of days ago!

I used to have a house at the top of a ridge that faced East near this and the last winter I was there I had sustained winds (not just gusts) of over 80 mph!  I still get strong winds here occasionally (including some around 50 mph over the last few days), but I don't miss being the one to block the wind for all those with homes behind me.

It would be quite difficult to single anyone out around here.
