A blast from the past. KIDDIE A GO GO

My son just called and told me he found this link and lo and behold it had to do with me.  I had totally forgotten about this side of the record.  It is from 1966.  It's a You Tube video but it's only the song.  I did a comment and filled them in that Nugent started with us after this record.  Gosh, I feel old tonight, but nostalgic.   This was the B side of the record.

I hope you enjoy this.  Of course it's a bad copy probably 50th generation but I think that some of the talent shines from the old days.   Have fun, I did!

Very cool blast from the past, Warren!  And, some really interesting trivia in the comments.  I never knew that you played with "The Nuge", very cool!

I grew up in the area and time of Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes in the Michigan rock hey day.  We all played the same rock festivals and venues.   Cool flashback to that era!

Gives me a B52 vibe. Interestingly enough, I actually bought an old Ice Cream truck and blare this over the speakers as I drive through the development...  Don't worry, there's a sign on the side that says "You must be at least this tall to ride..."

Didn't I hear this on the Ed Sullivan show?    That organ solo surely inspired Rod Argent.

Certainly before my time.  "31 high octane '60s movers and shakers" is quite appropriately describes this tune.  These guys were really cranking it.

Thanks, everybody.  We did this song and wen
t on WGN tv to introduce the show.  Of course we lipsynced!  I couldn't hardly do it.  The other side of the "45" was us performing the song without Pandora. That was the A side, Pandor's was the B. I just heard that she passed recently.  God bless her!  This side showed off Hawk's keyboard skills.  he was a Jimmy Smith fan and just rocked out almost 50 years ago.  Oops, past my Geritol time.  Chuckle.

Bob- Nugent joined us shortly after this and played till I went in the army.  I was the last member of the original Males and they kinda went everywhere.  Of course Nugent and Hawk Wolinski went on to become legends.  I went ont to become Special Forces.  They're still famous and well, I'm just old.  :-)

Frank- It was recorded in downtown Chicago.  it was produced by Raymond Jaimes.  This link is a different cut of the song but it shows the actual record.  Believe it or not, kids bought over a million copies.  I got zilch.
