A browser and drum vst technical question

I have been trying to use the X2's browser's midi drum pattern (session drummer mid loop) to play my FX giest, NI modern drummer and a Korg Krome (external hardware). I know how to insert a midi track and use drummap manager to change the drum note in order to match the notes of each vst or external hardware synth. Currently I can only play the drum vst properly by inserting the drum loops into each midi track . Is there a way for me to audition the drum loops directly from the browser?
It seems that the browser can only playback midi drum loops directly into a vst intrument but not into a midi track or external midi output. Is there any workaround to that or should I send this thread to CW as a feature request for X3?

        Thanks in advance for answering.

This seems to be an oversight, I can only select vsti instruments in the auto preview list but there is no reason it shouldn't be available for midi out's to external hardware too...looks like a good feature request!
