I've been asked to stop howling. I understand that It's upsetting to people in nearby cubicles.

You're hoping the British weather holds out? Man you are a dreamer Steve! Nice shots even if the second one looks like a white circle PhotoShopped onto a black background. I'm expecting some crazy HDR shot just so you know!

Craig, the exposure was so short in #2, anything but the sun is clipped, so there's no detail I can rescue at all there. Weather forecast seems to suggest I might just be OK...

Pfft..... It's so hot down here I've been out and purchased a pet chinchilla. My goatee is now nice and tepid.

My rule of thumb for shooting the moon has always been to shoot at f-11 at 1/ISO to get good detail of the moon. But your shots are using a fraction of that exposure and still washing out the moon to a plain white disk. If your ISO is set to 100, you should see good moon detail at f-11, 1/100. But your image says f-11 at 1/4000. Weird. Your moon should be black. Just scratching my head. Thought you might like to watch.

Those are pictures of the sun, not the moon...
