A little REMIXED silliness See 1st post.

A little moment of silliness Unisong

Following on from some interest in hearing the drums a little more I have remixed Unisong from the ground up. I hope you enjoy.

That's pretty cool, John.  It just kind of prances thru a whole bunch of styles and signatures.  What synths were you using?

JV 1080 for the high bass, Novation SuperBasstation for the low bass, Novation KS rack for the EP, Korg 05R/w for the vibes, and Superior Drummer 2 with my selection of drums and cymbals based on the Avatar 1 kit.

Thanks for listening and you enjoyed.

You know what's silly?, A Wookiee coughing up a hairball.  Actually very pleasant timbres and wonderful use of pedal tones in a musical tirade that makes a CHB solo sound like it's standing still. Seriously John this has all the musical elements to delight from beginning to end... brilliant!!

Kind remind of when they put Bach's "well tempered clavier" into synth.  Sounds great!  Like the xylophone-synth combo.

Greg: Thanks and yes I know but I was sort of going for that Jazz combo drums sort of there but not if you get my drift, perhaps I will try a modified mix the drums a little higher.

    cool stuff John!

I'm getting a little "digital distortion" in the left channel occassionally.  not sure what that is.  maybe one of your drum hits?

anyway - it's not overly obvious.  nice happy little tune!  I like it!

sounds like it should be in the middle of some 70s prog song, y'know, ELO or Camel or someone in a flowing cape...or certainly on a BBC LP at the very least! nice playing John, and melodically actually very interesting and complex!

Yea, I love the bizarre yet structured melodies here ,well done with this quirky mix.I would of liked to hear a few hard off beat snare smacks to give it that extra edge, but only opinion.

I liked it. It was different and refreshing. :)

It started out sounding like something from a Romero film in the beginning but changed soon after.

I love those old Korg sounds. I still think the Piano on my X5 is one of the best I've ever heard.
