A little off subject but applies to DAW recording

Great stuff from Alan Parsons. His videos of the Art and Science of Sound. Really great knowledge to be had here. Can use most of it when recording now days. In case you don't know who Alan is, he has been a producer performer and engineer for many years. Did Pink Floyd and a mess of others. I have been an engineer for 25 years myself and learned a ton of new stuff.

I got this set for Christmas. If you need the basics of recording and mixing, it's a great learning tool. If you are intermediate or advanced however, you might find it too basic. Although I found a few gems in discs as well.

Yep it's for the people I see on here asking questions like "what does a limiter do" and what kind of mic should I use etc. And from somebody who actually knows what he's talking about is nice for a change.
