Thanks! I am glad you liked it. I have been experimenting with Z3ta+2. I like it a lot.

Yeah, I like this one too. I especially like the dirty synth sounds you create and the melodies suits the story you tell. You have some great sounds at your disposal which you use very well. Keep it up your making some great music.

Nice piece of Electronica.  I'm not heavily into this genre, but you make it interesting on this.  The use of the different types of waves on the lead synth and how you blend them held my interest. (I'm tempted to get my hands on the Z3ta+2 too)  I also like the textures. Great!

Sorry to say the piece did not evoke that feeling. Also, not my genre so I may have missed the mark here.

Wow! I am really happy you liked my piece, especially when it isn't your favourite genre. I don't really have a genre yet. It depends on the picture I have in my head and the sounds I am playing around with. Many thanks for the time you took to listen and comment.

Thanks a lot for listening to something that isn't your genre. I was going to explain the scene I had in my head when I was composing this, but I am not sure it would mean anything. I don't know how useful the description part is, and I have been thinking about not putting so much in that space, because music is very personal.

I'm that way too.  I have experimented with Electronica.  I think I produced one song in that genre years ago.  I'm like you in that I go with whatever I think the song calls for.

That's fun, I liked the part around 1:40 the best, and the ritard at the ending . . .  I'd like to listen to this while I was wandering around trying to capture Pokemon whatevers, if I did that sort of thing, which I sadly don't. How uncool of me.

Mix-wise, I'd try to give the kick drum a little more weight. Is it eq'd to cut everything below 150hz ? Or did you mix on headphones perhaps? You might check it on other listening systems?

nice wobbly, glitchy job! You know your synths.

Thanks for listening. I am glad you liked it. I was out chasing Pokemon, until I used my monthly wireless data up.😟

Thanks too for the advice about the kick drum. I will try boosting it. I don't know much about mixing or mastering. (I only started using a compressor recently). I do use headphones- or did before the ear pieces broke off the ones I was using yesterday. So until I can save enough to get new ones, I will be using other listening systems. I haven't been using any equalizer that I know of but I will certainly take a look.

I really like playing around with the synths, their are so many ways to make interesting sounds. I mostly use z3ta+2 and Dimension Pro.

It seems that electronica artists have a longer attention span than us old blues/rock guys, their songs seem to run longer.  In this case you partitioned it well, changing up the instrument sounds.  I think you did a really nice job on this.

Thanks for the compliment and for taking the time to listen to my song. Music is one thing I can focus on. I can't say the same for math though. I have a lot of respect for blues/rock artists. A lot of my favourite songs are blues or rock songs. Thanks again.

Yeah, I liked that.  I'm not a huge electronica fan either, yet I do have a fondness for synth based composition.  I think this one worked really well.   I very much liked those hard Nord inspired synth tones over top of a nice groove with arps a plenty.

I hear the "wub" track, but there is little to no low end in it. You'll want to layer a deeper bass underneath, IMO.
