Its usually found in the c:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Guitar Track Pro 3 directory. You need to rename it using Windows Explorer.

The only file I found was AUD there was no aud.ini. Am I in the right place?

Bill, latency is a hardware issue, nothing to do with the GT software, or it's 'code'. It's controlled by your signal chain, predominently the soundcard/interface, and the drivers used.

This is true. Even with my issues I had it working for a while.

He paid $99 for the functionality he felt was promised during the pre-purchase phase, and now he'd rather spend tens of thousands of dollars worth of his own time trying to get it, when what he really needs is a dedicated multitrack digital hardware recorder, or a $99 Tascam 4-track cassette machine.

Worth every penny for a decent bit of leather.

    100% bull.

And the jacket's quite nice too

    Hey Bob

I recently sent him a toaster as a gift to commemorate his 2nd anniversary of being a complete idiot.

Strangely, I haven't received a thank you note from him - I even took the trouble to have it giftwrapped in this beatuiful box:

I wonder if he will ever realize that channel surfing between Discovery and National Geographic doesn't constitute a world tour. Eating at a German restaurant doesn't count as living in Europe either.

Hey CJ, I just though of something - the title of this thread would make a good crossword clue:
