I highly recommend going on the weekly mail list for specials for both AudioMidi and Audio Deluxe. They both seem to be places that are selling these things very cheap at times.

    http://www.audiomidi.com/
    http://audiodeluxe.com/

You will get emails that let you know about all the specials that are on with both of these places. Sure you may not want or need most but that VST that you are really looking for at a sale price might just come up.

If only IRIS would be cheap now! I am sure it will be again.

I've been waiting for this full version to go on offer for sometime.. even bought the strum "session" (@19.95 at Cake store) hoping for a good upgrade deal.

Just wondering if the acoustic version is also on offer ?

Edit : Checked and found out the acoustic version is not on offer.

    Great bargain!

Use it with other amps from other software packages and it'll sound very good.

Use your own amp software. You then have a clean sound and can just use the tools and then it won't sound really bad.

There are too many great guitar players on this forum (whom I've worked with) that can give me much better tracks than I can play on a keyboard. Since I'm a hobbyist, I have no deadlines that make this tool "necessary".

I'm sure it will work for many others though. Especially at this price.

It may not sound that bad, but bad enough that it's unusable for anybody trying to create realistic guitar parts. Granted it's only $20 but what's the point if it's going to sound like the patches on a cheap Casio toy keyboard.

For 20 dollars it would be great if you had nothing else. But compared to EEG it really is of no interest.

I'm not 100 % sure but it seems that they don't charge you for the shipment?
Total cost with International shipment still only = $20.

IF not.... otherwise it will cost me another extra $20 for UPS EUROPE-shipment. I think it still worth it! Tried the DEMO, great software, especially together with Guitar Rig 5 or other AMP plugin.

A BIG +1 to that brother.
I almost ordered this till I went and heard the samples.
If that's the best they can do, and they KNOW all the tricks to make it sound good then they still need to do some work on this.

At this point this should be offered as free wear.

Yeah, I think some of the basic chords sound OK, but those lead lines simply don't have enough nuance to sound realistic, IMO. If you're going to fake guitar on a keyboard, may as well make it interestin'…

Must give credit to the guy (pun intended)  that first used this technique. (AFAIK)
Guy Babylon, later became Elton John's keyboard player but tragicaly died of heart attack 2nd september 2009.
This recording was the contest winner in Keyboard Magazine reader tape contest in March 1987...
    No guitars, just keys...

That was my thread tomixornot...and when I bought it they had 15% off for Memorial Day...

    So I got it for $17.....it certainly isn't great....but it's not BAD....

I've paid A LOT MORE for a LOT LESS...

That's the problem with software...once ya got...your stuck with it...

So, I don't consider $17 a bad price...now if I had paid $199....I would have had a MAJOR FIT!!!  LOL
