A rock

What are you looking here for? I said it's just a rock.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Hi,

Very ugly looking pet rock there ...

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I used to collect rocks. But I was worried about someone stealing them, so I buried them all for safety.

Yeah, but it's for guitar players, so it prolly comes with a mirror.

Sometimes things don't make sense when considered alone, but taken in a much larger context they join to form a coherent whole in which everything makes sense.

This is one of those times.

Except I'm not entirely sure about the "coherent whole" part.

Or the "everything makes sense" part.

The bass I have wanted to try and I would probably buy, is one of the Status Graphite Streamline ones ... the headless 5 String is what I would love to have, I think. Wouldn't mind trying the Steinberger, but I like the design of the Status Graphite much better. I'm not a "square" and "rectangle" kind of guy!

This is one of the times where we agree completely.

A bit pricey though.

More people followed.

As did I think most people directly or indirectly.

It's interesting how sometimes a single musician can really put a company on the map.

I almost had Chris Eccleshall build me a custom 335 bass after watching Simon Gallup playing one.  We talked a couple of times about it...
