A simple idea to improve workflow: "Replace Audio FX" option

Currently, the FX menu allows you to delete or insert certain effect. If you wish to replace an effect with another (for example, a delay by another delay), this requires at least two operations (delete an old/add a new fx or add a new/delete an old fx). To improve workflow, I suggest creating an option to simply replace the fx (what would require only one operation).

Additionally, it could be created a "Replace FX Chain" option.

+1 Steve - help me again.  I promise this is the last time ;)

This is a great idea.  I know there are a lot of click saving FRs that in isolation don't mean much, but if a number of them were implemented we could save hundreds+ clicks per project.

If it could automatically identify the type of plugin being replaced (e.g. reverb, compressor, etc.) and present you with a menu that excluded everything else not in that category, then this would certainly be convenient. It's the scrolling through plugin menus that takes most of the time when replacing a plugin, not Right-Click Delete, which takes a negligible amount of time.
