A song devoted to slide guitar

Here's my first song posted here.  It's called "Fall Back Road"  from my new album "Forgotten Fall".  This album is mostly about learning to play slide guitar and learning to mix and master a cd:

Next to my picture, a white box will appear as all the songs load.  When that's done the songlist appears and you can click on any song you want to hear.  If you want to hear my 1st album, click the page link "1st Album".   It's all instrumental songs with me playing duets with myself on the other instrument, which is usually a guitar synthesizer.  It took me a long time to find an mp3 player that worked properly.  I hope you enjoy "Fall Back Road" and some of the other songs.

    Some nice stuff, Jim.
I like the decidedly Latin feel of Forgotten Fall.
I might be inclined to back off a bit on the snare, and compression in general on the drums in Fall Back Road, especially in the beginning.
All of the slide work is synths? Very nice. One possible nit is it's maybe too clean. It's very hard to play a slide without picking up some sympathetic notes here and there.
Wings to the Clouds. Really diggin' that.

    Robert:

Thanks for your comments.  The compression on all the drums came pre-packaged with Band in a Box RealDrums.  I could go back in and ad expansion to the drums-- maybe that would do it.  I was able to separate the snare with a gate effect so I could add reverb to it.   Maybe too much reverb?
All the slide guitar was done on my electric guitars with a GK2A pickup and a Roland VG8EX guitar processor.  Except the slide on "Yearning" was done on an Ibanez acoustic.  I used the guitar synths for simulated flutes and clarinets.  There's also a real soloist playing a flute, a trombone, and a saxophone on various songs.  These are realtracks that came with Band in a Box, but cut and pasted from several takes.
