Long time no see Michael! This is wonderful...what a lovely song, and a terrific arrangement and mix. Nothing I don't like here, sounds radio ready to me.

I rather like this. Very nice production. I thought it had a John Lennon influence to it.

This is a very nice song.  I heard the Beatles influence, too.  Your daughter should be happy.

Thanks everyone - amazing feedback!! You have officially made my night!! :-) I must admit the production on this song was something I had to give some serious thought to. It needed a string section but I didn't want to make it sound too retro/beatlesque - by the same token I also didn't want to take away from the Dear Prudence vibe.A tricky juggling act this one!

excellent song, yes it's very influenced by a certain band but there are enough modern sounds in there to keep it fresh. nice recording too

Lovely track. When I read "A song for my daughter" I expected some schmaltzy thing... but this is marvellous.

    Thoroughly enjoyed it.

When you write real songs about real people and real feelings it adds magic to the song.  It makes it very real.

    Very inventive orchestrationwise.  Cool song.

Dont know whether i am qualified to comment yet, but i love the light and airy start. I would have put less kick on it, but i don't know whether that would be right or wrong.

Love the song very much though
