I was thinking Jackson Browne myself. It's like a Browne, Eagles and Bob Seger tune rolled up in one. See my quote.

Well done!!!

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

Well, this is not my preferred genre of music. I am not an Eagles fan. But, as always, nobody can fault the performance or song writing skills you possess. You possibly have the best voice on the forums (possibly, its a close call though ), and you use it well. If I was in to this kind of music, I expect I would love this.

Cheers
Shad

Shadwick, thank you for your imput. This one was a little lose, I comped, I could have tuned it better to get it "just so" but I'm one who believes you lose something when you tune it too much? I think it needs to sound somewhat like a live performance. There is value in imperfection (that's what I keep telling my blind dates...)

Bill it's a Jackson Browne tribute :-) A lesser known song off Runnin off Empty. But I like it. It's a song about love, and loss, but still there's "something there for you?" You have to experience it to fully understand it, as I believe most of us do :-)

Robbie - your voice is immense at all times, but in this vulnerable country style it comes into its own. piano sounds good, needs a bit of verb but otherwise great.
