A video making the rounds in the bicycle world

You can almost hear the terror in the rider's breathing at the the start of the run. The "doppler" effect of the crowd's "roar", when the rider does the 360 black flips and the microphone spins with him, seem interesting to listen to as well.

Doing dumb things like that on a bike is one of the ways I broke my nose and woke up on a trail with two joggers looking down at me.  Apparently the skinny downhill path turned and I didn't electing instead to go over a 17' cliff...  I was lucky to survive with "only" a few stitches, cuts, bruises and a concussion.  The bike was toast as well.

Next time chug an extra Red Bull before making your move.

Here's a different view of one of the other riders on the same course:

Pretty amazing footage Mike. As long as clowns like that pay for their own healthcare I'm all for it.

Your video reminded me of this incident earlier in the year from where I live. It ends up like a horror movie: the cyclist speeding away looking over his shoulder every few seconds to make sure he's not being pursued. Even has the deep breathing going on.

I'll even throw in a 6 pack of Red Bull.

Personally, I think the subjects in those videos must have had some parts that were better than standard.

    Yes.

I like to go fast but I also like to keep my wheels stuck to the ground.

The guys that do the big drops and jumps on the "free ride" bikes are from a different cut of cloth than most of us.
