A-500 Pro discontinued?

Hi all,

I was looking for a smaller controller with DAW control, and my search was narrowing down to primarily the A-500 Pro and the Axiom 49 (v2)... until I saw the A-500 Pro listed as a closeout.  I asked the store listing it that way, and they don't know why, but say Cakewalk discontinued it.  Does anyone here know if that's the case for sure, and if it is discontinued, why?  Thanks!

Just a guess, but it may be because it is apparently being re-branded as Roland, not Cakewalk.

The A500 PRO is a current product and not being discontinued. But newer ones being manufactured do in fact have the Roland brand name.

Great to know, thanks!  Musician's Friend couldn't tell me why, but told me it was on closeout because it was discontinued.  Glad it's only being rebranded.
