A-800 PRO sliders and rot. knobs issue

Hello.
I've got a A-800 PRO, and notice this issue: the minimun value 0 starts on the second mark and the maximun value 127 is reached at the last two but the end of the sliders and rotatories knobs paths.
Have you noticed something similar on yours A-X00s?

How do you get the rotary value to appear on the LCD - still learning my way around!

    Thanks for the reply, Joe.
If  ACT  is off (pushing ACT button), you can see the rotaries and sliders values on the display.
And, of course, on the DAW or any software that we try to control, we can see it too.

Thanks Joe and bfg1973 for yours replies.

    The tech support said:
"This behavior is normal in all keyboards A-Pro Series. This is because both the knobs and faders are analog, and requires a certain degree of inaction.
Failure to respect this margin could not have precise control of securities, and each time it is acted on one of these controls, the values were different at the same point."

Joe, I need some video to see the values changing on the right way.
Could you make it on your A-800?
    I would appreciate infinitely.

Thanks, Joe. I hope someday you show it us. Someone else can make a video of an A-800, A-500 or A-300 to see the controllers working properly?

Ignore my earlier message - I've uploaded it now but not sure if you can see it very well but I can assure you that the display is at 0 when the dial is at 0 and at 127 when dial is at 127

Sorry JoeGBradford but in your video I can see clearly that when you start to turn the knob the value doesn´t change in the display (apperar MIDI CH 1) and after you rich 127 VALUE the knob turns more. Your keyboard have the same ¿issue?.

OK, Joe, this is an initial part of your video:

I only can see on your video that your A-800 works like mine, with the same problem I've shown (in a better recording, IMO)
You've got a surreal sense of humor. Congratulations!
But I'm very sad with this problem that I think is serious issue, because I paid for something I have not gotten, and Roland/Cakewalk continues to sell this hardware with the Pro of Professional in the A-800 name.

I may have a surreal sense of humour at times but this isn't one of them - I was trying to be helpful and sorry if you feel I haven't been - perhaps I should not have bothered taking the time to upload and post this - when I looked at my dials & sliders previously they appear to be ok - I can see that this video does not give that impression though it seemed to me when I was doing it that it looked ok. I have no doubt that your video was superior but I had a limited amount of time to do this so couldn't produce one as good.

I hope someone else may help but I suspect that being sarcastic to those who try to help will not win you many volunteers! Good luck with sorting the problem out.

Please, no mistake, I found it very helpful, verifyind that is a common fail, not only to me. My arrows are for Roland, not for you.
You say you've had limited amount of time, and me too: I needed 15 minutes to record it, upload it and post it. My video is not superior in quality, but I think it tells what I say. There's not a competition. It's only information.

But, please, be sympathetic (and maybe a little self-critical): we waited almost a month to see your video, and doesn't match to what you say above.
Sorry if I offended you, it was not my intention. I thought you were pulling my leg or joking. And I laughed a lot. I love Buñuel an his sense of humour, and I though that you were in the same way.

I apreciate you paid attention to this post.  Thank you very much, Joe.

Ok - no worries :-) Sorry it took so long but I have very little time for music as very busy at work and tired when I get in! I will have another look at this and see what happens next time as I am almost certain the read out looked ok previously Hope you get a more helpful response to your problem from Roland
