Thanks to my wife being so awesomely talented and to her phenomenal portfolio, we've just been approved for the green card, at our very first try.
As a matter of fact, we hadn't even sent a third of that portfolio, as our lawyer advised us that it was to be expected to have to go through round 2 and provide more documentation. But this proved to be unnecessary. :)
Which means I should be able to start looking for gigs and work legally pretty soon. :)

Green Card.
Now the funny part - biometric tests and trying to get a new copy of my vaccination record (which was lost when my mother died ages ago).
But as I just found out, I must make a written request to get a new copy of that record. And they don't have an e-mail address, so I'll have to go old-fashion, send a letter. And then just wait...
Free health services come at a price, I guess... Efficiency and modernization are no priorities.
