ACCESS TI and sonar X1 expanded

²²Hi

I have just discovered that X1 does not compensate the latency generated while recording from the ACCESS TI . So its always starting like 4-20(!!!!!!!) ms late the audio in the recordings .....in cubase I did not have this problem .
Since its TI , I have 2 use the realtime "bounce" ...........
but it actualy starts each recording too late ! Its not normal ----- why is this in sonar like this now ?
I just had great fun with absolut tight realtime bounces with ACCESS TI in cubase ??? I can not explain this ?????

in other words : the ACCESS looses "time" in sonar X1 expanded !

Its midi data is not synchronized 2 the recorded audio data ....some 100ms !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!

have a nice day

is there a trick ????

it realy ,realy pisses me off !   sry my french ......I just worked on a project with a friend ,,,,,,had to use cubase with my ALL new access TI ...I was surprised how tight it records ----
now I just had my shock in sonar X1

OMG

This is not normal. If you would calm down and provide some information about your setup, maybe someone would help you.

Are you using the TI's ASIO driver? How do you have it setup? What's your computer's specs? What bit depth and sample rate are you using. How do you have the latency setup on the TI's control panel. Sonar can do anything Cubase can do and better.

Vista 64 bit , I use MOTUS ultralite asio , X1 exp. ACCESS TI snow
INTEL DX58SO (!)  i7 quad 2,9ghz
I use 44khz 32Bit

sonar seems to have problems with the start only of the recording . If I widen the midi clip , so that it would have one bar with no data in it , sonar will be very tight ........

This is a users forum, and no Cakewalk help center. If you need help you better call the Cakewalk custom service. Those guys are friendly and helpful. If you want help from the other users here you have to calm down and stop demanding things - that wont work you know.. Now - if you really want help, give some information about how you exactly did set up the Virus in Sonar, what drivers you are using, if you use DPC, if you use latency compensation etc. And please stop using capitals - this is seen as shouting and wont generate much sympathy amongst the other users here..

No problem here.  Just been around to know that anger and hostility don't get you anywhere.  Suprised to see that you still need to learn that.

You are not a musician or a priest you are simply rude.

This is a peer to peer forum. What you are doing is offensive to us. If you continue you will be reported. Your issue could have been fixed if you had shown just a little decorum.

Question, why should I accept your rudeness? Why should anyone? If you are a musician as you claim why would a fellow musician disrupt a peaceful forum that is trying to offer help to fellow other musicians? Again this is a peer to peer forum. Maybe you don't know what that means.

Yelling at us and posting repeated threads on the same subject is highly offensive.

If you calm down and logically relate the problem you are having in a tone that is not abusive we will be very happy to help and fix your problem.

If you are unable to do that, control yourself, you will only get banned.

I have a similar problem with the Access TI.
It takes up to 2000 ms (2 seconds !!) to hear a sound, by pressing a key. When I record the Access TI to Sonar X2, I can go drinking coffee, before I hear the sound.
I read in german forums that this must be a problem with drivers from Access.

I bought the access TI for a few days and this was my first experience. I still have no solution.

We digitize tapes, vinyl, dat, md ... in broadcast and studio quality for publishers, public institutions and individuals.
