ACT, as this topic finally gets some attention here...

I use a Kore2 controller, to control cubase, and I want to do the same with sonar. I setup multiple ACT controllers and a Cakewalk Generic Remote device, each assigned the same MIDI I/O, namely Kore2 MIDI. Each ACT controllers setting is saved as a preset. However, on every sonar launch, the ACT controllers do not work. I have to manually reload the appropriate preset into my different ACT controllers, in order to have it work. This has to be a bug! Can anyone using multiple ACT controllers bound to the same MIDI ports confirm? Can anyone check, please? It's annoying having spend countless hours to configure the Kore2 controller and having set up multiple ACT controllers, which do not work. anyone?

    Hey man!

    I don't know. But if you load your Normal template and set up ACT the way you want and save the Normal template with everything set up correctly, does this happen again with a new project?

    I had a similar issue with trying to configure two ACT controllers for (in this case) two physical devices.  Sonar just seems to lose its mind when presented with more than one ACT controller; it flat out does not work as expected.  Cakewalk confirmed the bug  CWBRN - 4261.

    This is for the Generic ACT interface.  I don't know if controllers that have a specific interfaces are similarly dysfunctional.

    Don't ask the question if you cannot live with the answer.

    The thread is old... but I do not think that matter now

    Which X Touch you try to use?
    * Big one (with jogger) - switch it to MCU mode (see Behringer documentation) and use MackieControl
    * Mini - follow http://www.azslow.com/index.php/topic,377.0.html

    Yes, in MCU mode, full version X-Touch works very well.
