AD2 Drum maps not showing up

Its been a long time since I have posted on here.  I just recently upgraded from X3 to Platinum.

I never used AD2 in X3 because no matter what I did or what instructions I followed the drum maps never showed up and there are a bunch of different hits for each piece, and it was really tiring trying to remember what note was what etc.

I kind of hoped that they wouldve made it work in Platinum and its doing the same thing.  Ive followed the instructions on the cakewalk blog and copied and pasted the drum map and templates where they go, but still nothing.  I know that its been asked before and solved, but Ive done and redone all of the steps.

Is there anything I couldve done wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Are you making sure to use the Drum Pane within the PRV?

Thanks for the quick response.  Yes the drum pane is open in the PRV, just shows the note names. I only ever use the step sequencer though so Id like to get it working in there.

Hi. Is your MIDI output set to AD2 Drum Map? When in PRV, try dragging from the top (when the pointer turns into a double arrow) and down.
Hope it helps.
All the best.

I just opened AD2 in SS, and the Drum Map is showing there as well.

Zargg, youre a lifesaver.  Changing the output to AD2 standard worked.

Thank you very much!
