Thanks Beagle. Just venting. Tired. I hate my job, still waiting to see if the wife got a new one and if we are going to move, and In the meantime I can't quit mine. They've had 4 people quit in the last month where I work. One of the guys has been there 22 years. What did they think was going to happen when they announced everyone had to work Saturdays and no more raises ... ever. They are using corporate 'buzz' words like, add-on sales incentive "culture". They are giving everyone 2% more commission, making it so they have to sell a certain amount or you get fired, and that's your raise from now on. So ... there's no chance of me ever getting above the 7 dollar an hour pay cut I took when I went there. Just tired of all the lies, deceit, etc etc and it kind of boiled to a head this morning. Thanks for asking about me everyone, and yes Mike, I'm taking my marbles and going home!

You know Bub, problems like the ones you're going through are the reason unions got established.
Pretty sad to see that we have gone back to the depression in terms of our working lives. I hope we all get to look forward to better days, but it's going to take a long while to undo the damage. Keep you head down and your powder dry.

I truly sympathize with you Bub.Nothing worse than working a job you hate. On the optimistic front,you have a job...maybe there is something worse.
There have been jobs I have worked that it would have seemed like a good day to just walk away from the place...or be let go.
I hope and pray that it all works out well for you and your wife.Who knows? With several people already leaving the company maybe things will loosen up a bit for you or a policy change will be mandatory.
You can't lay gold bricks,if that's what they want then expectations are too high on their part and they are shooting themselves in the you know what.
