[ANSWERED] Cthulhu...

Must be my age

After seeing a couple of posts here mentioning Cthulhu I thought I'd give it a try.

Downloaded the demo.

Inserted it as an instrument.

Played a single note and I get the chord playing. nice.

I already had an instance of Ultra Analog ready for using Cthulhu with.

Can I get Cthulhu to drive Ultra Analog?

No

Totally stumped...

I understand the theory, but trying to apply what I know is not happening.

Some how I need to get the MIDI output from Cthulhu to the MIDI input of UA..............................

Doh!

Thanks Bob... I've been accepting certain defaults for so long when inserting a new synth that I totally missed the "Enable MIDI Output" option.

So thanks a lot for that

cheers

Ah! Easily done then... I feel a little bit better about that now then haha

I've had a sleep on it and I've decided to purchase Cthulhu this morning. I have been struggling for inspiration of late so I'm going to see what this can do to help in that department.

I'm also going give Tantra a go too...

When I get home tonight dub, I can post some screen shots and some walk throughs to maybe help you out.

Start with an instance of Cthulhu. Put a midi clip on it's midi trk
Then load up your synth of choice. Call it Synth B
Have Cthulhu's output directed to the synth B
Output of Synth B to master.
Should get sound
