APRO 500 problem

Hi,

I am experiencing a problem with my APRO since I have upgraded to X1d Expanded.  Its not a show stopper just a little frustrating.  I have contacted cake support but they are telling me to get in touch with Roland.

Here's the problem-

Pre X1d the "B" buttons in the contol surface plugin were mapped by default to B1 = Track, B2= Effects, B3= Synths B4= Pro Channel.  Since the upgrade to X1d the Pro Channel now maps to the B3  Effects button, quite logical I think however, when I now press the B4 button I find that all the knobs and sliders in control surface plugin are now blue and unassignable, well at least the drop downs on each button dont work, hence leaving me with a useless B4 button.

Is this the same for other APRO users or is it just mine that has gone bonkers?

I am guessing this has got something to do with the latest Pro Channel changes..... thoughts guys and gals?

Not sure why an upgrade has changed it but you control which buttons are available for mapping or not via the APRO surface properties box.

    Working from memory but.....

Switch to the options tab in properties and select the button you don't want to "turn blue" (respond to ACT) and check the "Exclude button from ACT" check box.

Once that is done that button will no longer be available for ACT. If you just want to change what a button or rotary controls then you need to ACT learn the button/rotary.

For more details on setting ACT up see my ACT video
