ASIO Question

Right now, the ASIO driver mode on my sonar 8.5 doesn't work because I have no ASIO audio interface. I use another mode and I can play a midi keyboard through a midi USB cable and it works well. If I were to get an ASIO audio interface and switch the driver mode to ASIO, will it still let me use my keyboard USB connection, or will I have to get another cable to route the keyboard through the audio interface instead of plugging USB directly into the computer since the driver mode only works because of the ASIO interface

    There should be no conflict with the MIDI USB at all, so you would not require an audio interface with MIDI input either (unless you want such).
