ASIO drivers are dead...

Hi,

Everything is up to date, WDM ok, wasapi ok, asio dead.

I installed a new video card recently, a Zotac GeForce GT 240 zone edition. It has built in audio, which I disabled.

Seems like it do not like the vs700r, or vice versa, or my system is a lemon...

Anyone is using this card or have a cue of what I should do to get ASIO drivers back?

Thanks.

I did have this drama once before but loooooong ago back in Sonar 4 or something... can not remember the fix for the life of me... I 'think' it was a delete of the aud.ini file that brought things back to life. Hope you get it back ok...

Thanks Mully, I'll give this option a try. I'll reinstall the vs drivers also.

I'll get back after this in case it can help someone else.

Ok good news: Asio is back!

Don't know exactly what happenned but here's what I've done:

    1. Boot the computer without powering the VS.
    2. Uninstalled the vs drivers.
    3. Reboot
    4. Reinstalled the vs drivers, powered the VS system only when asked by the installation.

    That's it.

I don't know why they were erased but I hope it won't happen again.

    So far so good.

Thanks again Mully for your time.
