ASIO4ALL on Laptop

I have Windows 7 HP and Sonar 8 Producer on my cheap Acer Laptop.
I use this for just editing and misc stuff. (I have main computer for important stuff) I had it going in the past, but I decided to upgrade the ASIO4ALL from 2.10 to 2.11 and then I started having problems. Yes, I went back to 2.10 , but it didn't help. I get error message that says...deactivate system sounds in control panel, deactivate unused inputs and outputs, audio drivers too old/too new.
I can get it working on Sonar (putting out an output signal) but I still get an error on ASIO4All and no actual sound. I get error message..in use by another application? MS GS wavetable enabled?
I checked all of the stuff that the error messages suggest. I know this should be self-explanitory and it is probably something easy. I usually figure these things out really quick, but this one is being difficult.

Thanks for any help

I totally understand that ASIO4ALL is not a professional tool, but like I mentioned, it is for my secondary "on-the-go" laptop, and it is very useful for using in laptops and doing misc. edits and stuff on the road. It worked before. I know it's just a setting. Yes, I have a real computer, sound card, mixer, etc. at home, in my studio.
