AUDIO INI FILE

Hi all,

I recall seeing some posts, (but cant find through search) and dont quite remember process and/or merits of resetting audio ini file? could someone please reset my memory, and briefly explain purpose and process for doing this? (or provide a link to previous posts).
As Im having some performance issues (very slow loading and closing) for some project files and wondering if this could be a possible cause/solution?

Cheers

Renaming or deleting the AUD.ini file causes SONAR to restore the default AUD.ini when the program is run again. The ini files are found in %appdata%\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum

Slow loading and closing will likely not be affected by restoring the AUD.ini to default settings but it is an easy test. Since only certain projects are slow to load and close, plug-ins would be the first place I would look. First eliminating any 32bit plug-ins.

K thanks Scook, guess there pretty loaded up with Neutron 2, although so are others that dont take so long. What would be a reason to reset audio.ini file?
