I just watched their promo video. They kept mentioning that these reproduce the same effects on recording that changed history. No mention of the historic recorders or material. I thought it was funny.

Since I already owned it all sans the J37, they let me "upgrade" to the bundle for $122. IOW I got the J37 for $122.

So, heads up to all you "partial" owners.

I guess if they'd gone back a couple more years...we'd have cylinder recreations!  ;-D   I've yet to hear that...of course the vinyl scratching, dust, warp sounds have been out since before ADATs !!!  lol!!

LOL  maybe Ol Pal .....in person i stopped on FX and focus on sound source (synths et librairies) nut lately i couldn' t resist on the SSL duende X saturator (also to stop using Channel console emu and tapes) and jumped on the SPL transient designer sale ....planning on getting EZ drumer 2 and the only thing i want since months : speakerphone 2 but just can't justify that amount of cash on it ....

I already own the RS 56 and the REDD so i can have the bundle around 211 $ and the tape is not that bad and the REET ADT looks amazing (even i if jumped on the soundtoyz microshift) ...lol

Anything called Abbey Road bundle should almost be a no brainer to me. But the fact that the King's Microphone is of no interest and that ADT is of marginal interest make the bundle that much less tempting. And since I already own a decent tape-type of plug-in, even though I'd be curious to test the AR one, the whole bundle just isn't that appealing.

I use REDD & RS56 quite a bit but have no use for the others.
    Why not try the demos?

The update feature is a bit wonky to me at times. For example, I have all three components in the Tubes, Tape, and Transistors bundle. You would think there would be no cost, or minimal cost, to make this the bundle. However, it would cost $100 to turn them into a bundle that could then only be sold or transferred as a group...

The Abbey Road Collection would cost me $173. I don't care about the King's Microphone so that price would just get me the J37. Not sure I need another tape emu. But, I do love REDD and RS56. The ADT is fun too, though has more limited uses for me. It did a cool thing for the vocals of a cover of White Rabbit - very spacey. :)
