Aborted Sonata 3 - Who Are You?

https://youtu.be/moID2DUH3xI
Well since no one got my humour in last track, or perhaps there wasn't much to say about track...I've decided to retire from 'popular' music lol, and concentrate on my serious composition methods.

This piece is the third in my experimental sonata series (although its not quite a classic sonata, and continues on from number two https://youtu.be/aghqqw1j3sk which used sound bytes from Star Trek Classic. This composition was written for strings, percussion, vox, soundscapes or sound bytes, slide guitar, and multiple synth lines. It follows on from Sonata no 2 or My Bleeding Heart (see above link), but rather than use Classic Trek sound bytes, it uses Next Gen.

Finally, I'm still experimenting with visual forms, this time I'm using an archetypal image...a stream and light to hopefully blend the composition with the vision.

Sounds more like Hawkwind than Beethoven  That's pretty good Ben, lots of cool textures going on. I'll say nothing about the video this time...

Lol...I actually don't know any hawkwind. The name always put me off. It's under the hood, the complexity of the piece...although I'm not pushing the complexity. This is because, I did not have a path to complete the piece. Finally, vid...I don't think you get what 'artists' or visual artists like, but on saying that...visual artists all love my vision...but get confused when I try and marry music and vid...it makes sense to me :)

    Thanks James :)

No doubt. All I can go by is 'do I like it?'  Keep doing what you do Ben.
