Just minor nit. Verb/space on drums seems just a tad "too big" to me. Kind of like the drums are in a different space. Maybe just too much on the snare? Can't put my finger on it exactly. Everything else sounds pretty good to me on first listen.

I like this song and your voice very much. From what I hear on the radio and TV nowdays, I think reverb is making a comeback. Of course, like s.p.i.c.e. it requires a deft hand, but I think you got it about right. If you like it, I can like it, too.

Great keyboard feel and good guitar riffs. The drums seem disconnected. Perhaps they have more reverb than the rest of the mix? You might try finding some "space" a few times. (EG cut drums/bass or other occasionally, like you do at the ending)

Thanks for your insight on the mix. I can hear it now the drums disconnect. Yeah probably should cut down on the verb some. I really appreciated guys. thanks.

I stopped listening the second I heard "God's special way". Religion and Fascisim are two sides of the same ignorant coin for me. Please, at least give a content warning so I can choose whether or not I want to listen to it.

i really like this tune,i listen to two of your songs, this one and "my baby left me blues". i find for myself anyway it helps me connect with the artist. i really like the way you opened up snare with a large hall reverb during the second verse i think it was. the guitar i think could be a little more powerful comming in but when your doing a mix like this it is easier said than done. Chad i think your over reacting a wee bit.but your intitled to your own opinion and I would be foolish to argue with you about it. this isnt a religious song, artist such as led zeppelin with "in my time of dying"..and the almond brothers "lord i was born a travelin man" had such references,i never found these to be songs of religion, nor would I turn off instantly just because of a quick reference. so just so the next person knows,i didnt find this to be the case.

Please, at least give a content warning so I can choose whether or not I want to listen to it. First off this is not a religious song. It's a song my oldest son inspired when he was 4 years old and me and his mom were going through a divorce. I am glad you stopped listening because your ignorant. I'm offended by your ignorance and intolerance to others. Maybe you should have warnings about your songs for others who live in a politically correct world. Give me a break.

Your are right, and I apologize. Not sure what caused me to pop off like that. It is true I do not like religion, but usually I am more restrained.

You know, I did not see the other comments you made, I just responded to the first. Please note that I never said anything about tolerance. You did. By definition, what I asked was a clear indication of tolerance. I did not ask you to cease, I asked you to provide a warning so I could CHOOSE to listen or not. This is both fair and reasonable. Now, if you are indeed a practising Christian, and you respond like this, then please understand when I say it is yet another reason I have no respect for your religion. If not, well, I understand your anger and give my apology for my knee jerk reaction.

Your lack of religion is the reason you responded to my song the way you did. Shad, there's no point in this discussion. This is a site to discuss music not religion, politics etc. I respect your right to choose to beleive in something or not to. It does not matter to me. We both have the right to say what we feel but we don't have the right not to be affended or be heard so you can say what you want about my songs or posts. I have the right not to listen. We should leave at that.

Hi Bob, I like the tune. Good vocals. Piano playing and guitar solo were very good as well. I am not sure if you changed the reverb on drums, but I liked the sound of the snare and the amount of reverb on it in this version. Good tune.

I listened to the blues tune and commented on Sammy's video... he never reciprocated... but hey, that's ok... I'm not offended... I really enjoyed "About You", and got a big laugh out of Foxwolfen's rant...
