About to move to X3. Question

Hi
In the next few days I'm moving to a new PC (Sabertooth, i7) and, for the first time, to X3. Am I able to simply transfer my Normal.tmp, colour, and keybinding files from X2 and expect them to work in X3?
Many thanks
David

Never heard of normal.tmp or colour files in X2, maybe somebody can enlighten me.
If you have tracks colours in X2 that would have been done with a third party util so don't expect that to play nice in X3 where it is built in.
If you are talking about transferring project templates across in Sonar, yes you could probably transfer this across but I would strongly recommend you create a brand new ones (just in case of issues later).

Sorry for the confusion - away from my computer. I meant Normal.cwt, .clr (colors), . kbn (keybindings)
    Thanks

I always build a new normal template for each version from scratch. There have been reports of problems using templates from previous versions. There a significant changes to color handling between X2 and 3 so I would expect the color files won't match up. My keybindings did migrate OK.
