Acid instead of Wave?

Just a question, in the manufacturer field is no wave file option listed. But I can choose Sony Acid and Sonar will handle them like wave files? Here´s the link http://www.quparts.com/Vo...ca_V1_p/qua-69-450.htm

Yes - SONAR's Groove Clips and Sony Acid files are interchangeable. They are both Wave files with extra information bits for BPM, project pitch, etc.
