Acoustic Samples (UVI Workstation) dont need no iLok no more!

I just got a scattergram from Acoustic Samples.

Good news everyone!
Many of you have been asking for it, so there it is: our libraries can be used without the need of an iLok usb key.
How does it work? The protection is still provided by iLok, but you can register the license to your computer instead of the iLok usb key. Of course you will still be able to use the iLok key as it is very convenient, but at least now you have a choice. One of the great features of that new system is that you can move the license around, it can be moved from a computer to another, then to an iLok key, and it is as easy as a simple drag and drop thanks to the iLok license manager.
Can i have it? All new purchases (and the ones made since december 5th) can benefit from this new system, all you need to do is register normally and follow the usual process. If you purchased it before december 5th and want to use the new system, just wait a little bit as we are trying to find the best way to move your old licenses to this new system andit might require some more complex manipulations from you and from us.

 
Acoustic Samples make some very tasty products. I have a few from the days they still supported Kontakt. The only concern is iLok is still involved and presumably website glitches could still be an issue?
 
If this also appies to Mach 5 and other UVI workstation products i would say it heats up the competition Sampletank 3 will face.
