    I did enjoy it!
This is one of my favorite songs and your version is right up there with the original. Cool video too.
Could use a little more bass though.
Thanks for posting it. Gonna play it again.

Very nicely done. I'd put some lower mids in the vocals, but a very good performance in every way.

Thanks Bjorn and Bill. Your comments are much appreciated.

Playing it in the car yesterday I thought "where's the bass!". That'll teach me for rushing it out.
I have been using iZotope Tonal Balance lately to help identify any deficiencies but somehow missed it out when I put this track together. Must add it to my default template.

I was going for quite an extreme vocal sound; loud but with a whispery/hissy edge if that makes sense. I will try adding the lower mids in the vocals though.

THIS IS GREAT. Very nicely and tastefully done. Harmonies lovely.
I agree it's missing low end but like the vocal treatment.

Nothing wrong with that, apart from a little bass as noted, really good cover. Vocals are great.

Excellent vocals/harmonies on this Zinc and well produced. I also agree with the bass comments, but everything else was just spot on.
    Great job mate!

    Hi there, Zinc,

Absolutely dynamite job on this classy sounding cover!

Superb vocals and harmonies, excellent playing and instrumentation, and other than possibly adding just a touch more low end, the mix sounds fantastic.

"Nowhere Man" which comes up after it also sounded great!

    Excellent work, thanks for sharing!

    Have a good one,
    Bob

    Hi Zinc,

    Love the guitars, great cover.

Bit more bass would be good as already mentioned above.

    Thanks for sharing.

Nice cover! Very tastefully done. Other than the bass, I'd suggest panning some of the instrumentation to the sides. That way you could bring some of them up more in the mix and still leave a hole for the vocals.

    Great job overall!

Thanks for the positive comments and the suggestion Dan.

I got a bit focused on the vocals and didn't really do a lot to the instrumentation which does all sound a bit on top of each other. I will have a go at panning a few things around.

    Cheers

Trouble is I have now reached the stage where I have listened to it sooo many times that I’m getting song blindness if there is such a thing.
