Adaptors to make gear rack-mountable
Does anyone know of generic adaptors to make gear rack-mountable? I know there are specific adaptors, like the ones for putting my GK 800RB bass head into my rack. Wondering if there are any "one size fits all". I've got a couple of rack shelves, but they're already full of stuff. This all stems from Mod Bod's recent thread about mic pre-amps: http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2594173 I'm shopping for my first mic pre-amp, and I was wondering if something like a Studio Projects VTB 1 was rack-mountable. Thanks, Jim

Looks like a half rack unit to me, so yes, you can buy a mounting kit which will let you rack it

Thanks Jonesey. After I posted this, I did find a specific rack mount shelf for Studio Projects VTB 1 over at Sweetwater. What I'm not finding is a generic mounting kit. Hmm. Maybe I need to Google "mounting kit" instead of "rack"

RabbitSeason Yep, that's exactly what I found. Thanks Rain. I have a deeper version (more like a tray) that I use to rack up my VTB1. But it is very similar to that. Right now I'm looking for a kit to rack up a SONY A7 DAT. Can't find factory brackets.
