Addictive Drums 2 Producer Bundle

Hello all,

I recently purchased Sonar Platinum and installed everything from the control center, which says everything installed correctly.

For some reason I am not able to find 'Addictive Drums 2 Producer Bundle' from within Sonar?

Has anyone else experienced this? Am I missing something?

You have to create an account at XLNaudio and apply the serial number Cakewalk gave you for Addictive Drums. You will also have to download the XLN Installer software to install AD2 and the free Paks.

Indeed I did. It was a bit of a harrowing process but everything is installed and I might hook up my padKontrol to jam out on the new kits a little later. I'm currently just slurping some tea to wake up and watching the SWA Producer FX vids. Really well done and helpful series.

I updated the Complete Beginners thread with the details of the AD2 install and what I snagged. Sounds very good.

I upgraded to Sonar Platinum yesterday, and sure enough, you get the XLN Addictive Drums Producer Bundle with it.... 3 ADPaks, 3 MIDI Paks, and 3 Kitpieces!..You have to go to the XLN Audio website and enter your S/N in their downloader to get it.  Worked great for me.

Cheers!

Yup, just make sure you have Internet Explorer installed and have your internet security settings set to allow scripting. Otherwise the XLN Installer won't work.

Cool. I will go check that thread. I must have the IE scripting thing set (default), because I haven't had any issue with xln yet. Celemony, however, is a little odd, but that's another thread, too.

I have to wait for our new internet service to be installed before I can get back online to do this but it seems pretty straight forward. Just confused because the Command Center says that it was installed successfully?

Anyway, I have created an account and added my serial number to activate. I am downloading the file at work and will see if I can install later today when I get home from work. Thanks for the help guys, just seemed a little more straight forward that it actually is. O'well, we don't live in a perfect world do we?

Got 'Addictive Drums 2' installed but now having issues with the .DLL file. I am awaiting XLN Support to get back to me in regards to this. 'Addictive Drums 2' is working on my system, just the XLN Online installer is telling me 'Addictive Drums 2.DLL' needs repairing.

Have you tried to uninstall and re-install the Installer...as well as the AD2 standalone software?

I had that - I just clicked on Repair, and it did whatever it needed to and all was fine after that.

I DID have a bit of weirdness though, with the MidiPaks.  It seems I was authorized to pick 2 of those, but because I had been allowed 3 of other things, I clicked on 3 of the MidiPaks and then clicked on Get Deal.

Once I did that, I see the 3 MidiPaks showing check marks, but they are grayed out, and I cannot figure out how to get back into the selection menu for those, so that I can reduce my selections from 3 to 2.

Anyone have any ideas?

Bob, when you open up AD2 (standalone), do the midi packs you chose show up in there? (of note, they won't show in the XLN Installer....only in the main program).

If they're in there, then you're good to go.....otherwise, you may need to contact XLN as well.
