Addictive Drums installation location SOLVED - Now some Melodyne installation confusion

So I decided to browse through the Cakewalk folders just to see what all was installed and where it was all located, and was surprised not to find Addictive Drums in the Program Files/Cakewalk/VSTPlugins folder.  I finally located it in the Program Files (x86) folder, which I thought was for all things 32 bit.  Since I'm running Windows 7 64, Sonar X3d 64, and ran the XLN Audio 64 bit installer, I'm wondering if I screwed up somewhere along the way and have a 32 bit Addictive Drums on my system.  I don't believe I was given a choice between installing a 32 or 64 bit version of AD.  Thanks in advance for any help!

There is a choice of file path before you install. From memory it's not that obvious but it's there if you look for it.

Try searching your hard drives for Addictive Drums.dll

    Cheers..

I'm 99% sure I wasn't given a choice of file path when I ran the XLN installer.  I did find the .dll file in Program Files (x86)/Cakewalk/Vstplugins, along with the Melodyne .dll?  So are AD and Melodyne both 32 bit plugins?

Both Melodyne and Addictive Drums have 64bit versions

Yes, you get the 32 and 64 bit option with the AD installer. If you click on "advanced" in the installer window you may even decide after(!) the initial installation where to put the sample files. By far the most convenient control of the sound library I have seen so far in any sampled based VST-instrument.

Ok, when I get back to my music computer I'll run the XLN Installer again and find the "advanced option".  Hopefully I'll find a way to uninstall the 32 bit version and get the 64.  Definitely didn't have that option the 1st time, I just assumed that running the 64 bit installer would get me the 64 bit version of the software.  Then it's on to figuring out why Melodyne is only showing up as 32 bit.  Thanks for the help and the links!

Found the AD .dll in the Program Files/Cakewalk/Vstplugins folder.  I was looking for it in a XLN folder, but it's actually the only single .dll in the Vstplugins folder with no folder of it's own.  I verified that it is showing up in the browser's Instruments tab, and it's not the different color that 32 bit plugins use, so I think I'm squared away on the AD front.  Melodyne is causing me some questions, though.  There is definitely no Celemony folder or Melodyne .dll in the Vstplugins folder, or even in the Cakewalk folder.  There is a Program Files/Celemony/Melodyne singletrack folder that contains a Melodyne singletrack application and MelodyneReWireDevice.dll, along with a registration/activation PDF.  In the browser, Melodyne is the ONLY plugin showing up in the VST3 tab, even though it's not in the Program Files/Cakewalk/Vstplugins folder.  It's not showing up in the 32 bit font color either.  Program Files (x86)/Cakewalk/Vstplugins has a Meoldyne.dll.  So I guess I'm wondering what version of Melodyne am I seeing in the VST3 tab in the browser, and shouldn't it be in the Program Files/Cakewalk/Vstplugins folder?  Thanks for all the help!

VST3 plugins are installed in "c:\Program Files\Common Files"
Launch the plug-in and click on the about screen. It will indicate if it is 64bit just below the serial number. If you installed Melodyne as part of SONAR, the installer knows which version to install.
