Addictive Drums not responding to volume envelope

First time using Addictive Drums on a project and it's not following the volume envelope. TTS-1 follows it perfectly. Gotta be a simple answer.

Axes: Fender Stratocaster, Line6 Variax 300, Ovation Acoustic, Takamine Nylon Acoustic, Behringer GX212 amp, Shure SM-58 mic, Rode NT1 condenser mic.
Outboard: Mackie 1402-VLZ mixer, TC Helicon VoiceLive 2, Digitech Vocalist WS EX, PODXTLive, various stompboxes and stuff. 
Controllers: Korg nanoKONTROL, Wacom Bamboo Touchpad

    Hmmm... not working on Session Drummer. OK I must have done something to turn off the automation...

    You haven't by any chance set "Automation read" to "off" for the Additive drums track have you?

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram . 
    PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
    CPU: i5 4670. 
    Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
    Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

    Internet always on.

    Software    : Cakewalk by Bandlab (2018.09 B29)
    ASIO mode. 24bit 48khz 256 samples

    More likely is the Global Read button's been disabled in the Control Bar

    No, both the Global Read Automation and the track Read Automation are on. I have 4 other softsynths in this project and all of them are working properly except the Addictive Drums.

    OK. I got it. I had the automation lane on the MIDI track and not the AD track. I learn something new every day. Thanks all!
