It's pretty much the same thing as with the Addictive Drums program. You install the download XLN online installer, enter the product key and download the program, open up X3 and "poof" it's there ready to rock and roll.

I just checked my C:Drive directory and Addictive Drums in in the x86 file, and Addictive Keys is with the 64 bit programs.

I just ordered this. While I have several other keyboard programs, I like XLN's Addictive Drums and thought I would give this a try for this no brainer price. So, I just ordered. I have a question:
Is this a download delivery? It looked like it was standard shipping, but I did not notice the shipping options when i placed my order. So did you guys get a download delivery or hard copy by mail?
I got mine in the mail.

Is there a demo of the Rhodes samples or could somebody who knows hopw to play a rhodes upload one? I already have Ivoryii and Quantum Leaps (and an S90es/xs) so not so interested in the pianos but could use a good Rhodes as for now I am having to use my es/xs for my rhodes.

Also, will it work in X2 or do I need to get X3?

After listening to the XLN Drums in X3, I figured it to be solid sounding samples. Demos seem to confirm that, and at this price, I went for it.
I asked this on another thread, but will ask here too. Has anybody went for the Electric Grand upgrade?
Wondering if it ever goes on sale?
(69.95 @ XLN/ 59.00 @ online stores).

You get a hard delivery open the box, follow instructions and then its downloaded.
Strange, but works fine. Also keep the box, for your registration key is in it with the
guide. There will be a DVD in the box.

Got'em as part of this sale and can't believe how good they sound, esp considering the price. Much quicker loading times than my other sample sets so may replace Truepianos in my basic template.
I am not sure but I think True Pianos is a modeler and not a sampler. kind of like line 6 guitars model other guitars through algorithms. The full version is awesome and the Atlantis module is incredible. Now I am drooling over the addictive keys as well. ahhh resistance is futile!

I'm in the boat with you all. It was refreshingly obvious this was a must purchase. Will fill the spot I needed for a good piano sound.
Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Hard copy that is 100% worthless :). They mail you a little DVD sized case. You open that to find a paper with your serial and a DVD. Ahh ok, the samples are on that. Ummm... no. That contains XLN's online installer, that you already have (or can get free on their site), no samples. You feed it your key and register, and then download the samples. No I don't know what they get out of doing it that way either.

Well it may be a goofy system but I'm not gonna complain about it after all, they GAVE us Addictive Drums with X3, and only charged $29 for a full piano program with three great sounding piano sample sets...

I would imagine that offer is only for the full $179 retail package (even though technically the $29 "promo pack" contains the same 3 pianos). I haven't heard of anyone buying the $29 pack and getting the Elec. Grand for free....Still, It can't hurt to ask.

The $29 Studio Collection (MF sale) gets you the Studio Grand, Upright & the Rhodes. The Studio Collection + free Elec Grand (XLN sale) will cost you something like $149. ..or what JD said
