Addictive drums

Have recently purchased Sonar X3 Producer. Cannot find ADDICTIVE DRUMS. What am I doing wrong?
Appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks.

It's a separate download and installer from XLN Audio. Installation instructions can be found in your Cakewalk Store Account. Good luck and enjoy!

There are instructions included with X3 on how to install Addictive Drums. You have to install the product directly from the XLN website. If you purchased the upgrade download the instructions are in the 05_XLN_Audio_Addictive_Drums_Download_Instructions.rtf file in the download area for X3 in your store account.

Thank's for the info guys. I tried all this, but due to the fact that my Store Account gives me a SERIAL NO and not a PRODUCT KEY it seems I cannot register and open the software.
    What next????????????/

Thank's again for all your cooperation.

The "serial number" in your store account should be all you need, it is the XLN product key. Here are the installation instructions from the XLN site http://www.xlnaudio.com/install

Be forewarned that when you install AD the installer automatically puts the vst .dll files in the correct vst folder for X3 to scan. It will not prompt you where to put them. It does it on it's own. X3 will scan it when you start it the next time.

Sonar Platinum, Sonar X3e, Sonar X2a , Sonar X1 Expanded and 8.5.3 (32 and 64 bit), Windows 10 on a Toshiba P75-A7200 Laptop with i7 @ 2.4 quad and 8 gigs of RAM and secondary WD 1 Tb drive, Windows 10 desktop, Asus i5 @ 3.2 quad, 12 gigs RAM, 1 Tb drive, 1 500 gig drive, MOTU 24io, 2 Roland Studio Captures, Saffire 6 USB for laptop, Soundtracs Topaz Project 8 mixer, Alesis Monitor 2s, Event BAS 20/20s, Roland Micro-Monitor BA-8s, and 45 years worth of collecting FX, Mics, Amps, Guitars, and Keyboards!

It will also not prompt you for where to install the sample content, you'll have to manually click the settings in the installer before proceeding if you would like to use a custom folder.

Again, thank you all. Things are now operating as they should.
When required to enter the product key.....had to capitalize the letters.
Everything for now is operating properly.

Every time I open Sonar it tells me "WRONG COMPUTER ID", "Problem with authorization". Are you serious? I just installed AD2 and it's making me open up the XLN Online Installer every time I open Cakewalk?!? I've re-opened it twice now and it hasn't fixed this error message. I doubt that opening it a third time is going to solve this. Thanks for any help you can give me. (Sorry for my angry tone.)
