Adding Audio to Video

Suppose I record myself on a video camera as I record to Home Studio 7.

Can I use Home Studio 7 to add the mixed-down audio track to the video, so that the video, when played, contains ONLY the Home Studio audio track (as opposed to the audio that was recorded by the camera live)?

If the answer is yes, I assume there is a function by which to sync the video and audio?

Even if the answer is yes, is the better approach to use a video editing program to add audio from HS7 to an existing video file?

It should be able to edit out the original audio, worst case i'm reasonably sure you can mute it.
as far as syncing up the audio and video its pretty much a drag it where you want it thing, it works but I think it is mostly intended for the composition aspect of scoring.
Sony makes a program called vegas movie studio, that will give you more advanced tools to refine your score.

I believe that Greg (mxz583) is correct.  SHS is not intended to be a full fledged video editor, it's only intended to be used to create audio which would be used with a video.  it's video synch'ing is pretty much nonexistant and there are no editing capabilities.  you have to use something like sony vegas for that.
