Adding CakeWalk Sound Center and Z3TA2+ from Steam to SONAR Home Studio

Hi guys. So after garnering a bunch frustration from Cakewalk MC 7 from Steam, due to my inability find relevant and advanced documentation for the software, I decided to move over to SONAR Home Studio. However, during my time with MC7, I had accrued some nifty additions/DLCs to it, such as some Rapture and Steinway instrument samples wrapped in Cakewalk Sound Center, and Z3TA2+. However, after attempting to move them both over to SONAR, and crashing it multiple times, I decided to ask to see if there was a clean way to do so.

When they're downloaded, I see that there's three folders for Z3TA in three different places on the computer, and I don't know where to put any of them. Can someone help?

    I-S3-O,

Steam installs are designed as turn key. Meaning when you install SHS, Z3TA+2 and Sound Center will automatically drop into locations where SHS will see them. There's no manual copying required if installed to the same drive. If you purchased SHS standalone, you just need to point the scanner at the VST3 locations.

Feel free to send me a PM and I can walk you through everything.

    Best Regards,
    Seth
