Adding FX to part of a track.

Hi everyone,
My first post on here.I got the BR800 multitrack recorder about 18 months ago and got Sonar LE with it.Great unit !
I mainly mic up my guitar amp and make instrumental recordings with it.Good fun.

A question I have is ,how do I only add fx or eq part of a track ?
ex. How would I add some fuzz using the LE fx to say, measures 8 to 12 or just eq that part of the track ?
Is there a way to put brackets around measures 8 to 12 and add fx and eq it ?

I've read through the help section with LE but cant work it out.
Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum!
Either split the clip and use Clip FX or use automation to control  the FX.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
