Adding MIDI to specific CLIP or LANE with multi-lane track

My next problem I'm running into :

I have 4 MIDI lanes of hihats in a track. One for OHH, one for closed HH, etc.  I find it impossible to add a note to a specific lane/clip.

MIDI drawing and pasting are not lane-aware. When pasting, clips will go into the same lane they came from, and when drawing, new notes will go tend to go into T1 by default, but that can be inconsistent. You can try using Inline PRVs in each lane, but that may not give 100% predictable results either.

Enough reports of problems and feature requests have been entered that the Bakers should be well aware of the issues at this point.

I avoid the whole problem by entering most MIDI by recording in real time, and most of my editing involves modifying, deleting or copy-pasting events rather than 'drawing' in new ones. When I do run into this limitation, I usually just move the clip to its own track.
