Adding an echo to a Rapture sound

I have a Rapture sound that I am using on a piece whereas I would like to take this sound and add an echo to it.

I want this to be a permanent attribute for this new sound and not one that is added with FX. Considering there is much to know about Rapture, could someone possibly point to an example of this or share which parameters I should be focused on to develop the desired echo?

TIA,
Lance

Using Rapture's step generator on the amplitude of each element, you can create effects similar to DDL EFX. It will take some study and experimentation to learn how to use the step gen, but worth the effort.

Unlike a traditional sampler, you just can add the echo, record the sound and then slip the sound + echo back into Rapture as a sample. Rapt turns its samples into wavetables. Dimension should be able to load this long sample into itself, or any other sampler.

Thank you both. I like both suggestions.

I will experiment with each and come back for help if I get stuck.
