Adding audio clip problems

Adding audio clip problems

When i add an aduio clip into the timeline it ends up way far out and doesnt start at bar 1 why is that and what could i do to fix it to start at the beginning of the timeline???

    I'm amazed at how many times this is asked on this forum ...  I guess no one researches or reads manuals or help files anymore :(

    Anyway - just go into preferences and uncheck "Always import WAVs at their Broadcast Timestamp" and that will fix that.

    It's under "File" in PRefernces.

    You;re welcome.  I think CW should make that the default (uncheck) since SO many seem to have a problem with it - and don't know what causes it, how to adjust, etc.
